What we collect

• Through the contact form (on the "Company information" and "Work with us" pages): your name, surname, e-mail address, the subject, and anything you write in the message field.
• If you write to us or call us directly: your contact details and what you tell us.
• When you visit the website, the server automatically logs technical information: your IP address, the time of the visit, the page opened, and the type of browser.

We do not ask for and do not want any other personal data. Please do not send us copies of identity documents, driving licences or medical records through the form.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

• To answer your question, prepare an offer and arrange a shipment — steps taken before entering into a contract and performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To consider your interest in working for us — your consent, given by sending the message (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), and steps taken before entering into an employment contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
• To reply to other messages and to protect the website from attacks and spam — our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

GDPR means the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing mailings.

How long we keep it

Transport enquiries are kept for 24 months after the last contact, so that we can pick up a conversation you started earlier. Messages about jobs are kept for 12 months after the last contact. After that the message is deleted.

If we enter into a contract with you, the related documents are kept for as long as the law requires, for example under accounting rules. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited time for security purposes.

Who else sees it

Nobody outside the company, except the providers that make the website and our e-mail work, and only as far as needed:

• Our hosting provider stores the website, the server logs and the mailbox that receives messages from the form.
• Google Ireland Limited provides the map on the website (Google Maps). When the map loads, your browser sends your IP address to Google. Google may also process data outside the European Union under its own privacy policy. You can switch the map off in the cookie settings (the "Settings" button in the notice at the bottom of the page).

We never sell your data and never pass it to anybody for their own marketing.

How we protect your data

The website uses HTTPS encryption to transfer data safely. Messages from the form are seen only by the HEAD SIA staff who need them for their work.

Cookies

The website uses no analytics and no advertising cookies. It sets only technical cookies:

• pll_language — remembers the language you chose, kept for 1 year;
• cookies whose name starts with avia — remember your choice in the cookie notice.

If the map is switched on, Google may set its own cookies under its own policy. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or to hand it to you in a portable form. You can object to our use of it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time — withdrawing it does not make what we did before unlawful.

Write to office@headlogistics.lv and we will answer within one month.

If you believe we handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija), Elijas iela 17, Rīga, LV-1050, www.dvi.gov.lv.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we update this page and the date at the top of it.
